Why Next.js instead of WordPress?
WordPress sites average 3 to 6 second load times. Next.js static sites load in under 1 second. For a trades business, every extra second of load time costs you calls. People searching for emergency HVAC repair or a plumber at midnight are not waiting. Next.js also gives us full design control with no plugin conflicts, no security vulnerabilities from outdated plugins, and no monthly page builder fees.
How much does a custom website cost?
A 5-page site starts at $2,000 CAD. That includes custom design, development, deployment, schema markup, Google Analytics setup, and one round of revisions. Add-ons like e-commerce, booking integrations, extra location pages, or blog setup are priced separately. See our full pricing breakdown at /pricing.
How long does it take to build?
Deposit to live staging site: 7 business days. Full launch including your revision round typically takes 2 to 3 weeks total. We do not run 6 to 8 week timelines. That pace exists to justify large agency overhead, not to build better websites.
Do I need to provide content and photos?
Ideally yes. Your own job site photos and real business info will always outperform stock. We will tell you exactly what we need during onboarding. If you do not have photos yet, we can launch with placeholder content and swap in your assets when ready, or source high-quality licensed imagery as an add-on.
What happens after the site goes live?
You own the site and all the code. We hand over the Vercel project, domain, and Google accounts. If you want ongoing support including hosting, content updates, performance monitoring, and SEO health checks, our monthly retainer starts at $200/mo. No retainer is required, but most clients keep one.
