Is the retainer required after a build?

No. You own the site and all the code after launch. You can host it yourself on Vercel for free and manage it independently. Most clients keep a retainer because the economics make sense — one extra lead per month covers it — but it is never mandatory.

What does hosting actually mean here?

We manage the Vercel deployment, custom domain configuration, SSL certificate renewal, and DNS settings. Your site stays live, fast, and correctly configured without you having to touch any of it.

What counts as a content update?

Anything that changes text, images, pricing, hours, service areas, or page structure. Adding a new team member photo, updating your seasonal service list, swapping out a hero image — all covered under the 2–3 hours per month included in Standard and Premium plans.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Month-to-month, no contracts. Cancel with 30 days notice and we hand over everything — Vercel project, domain credentials, Google accounts. Nothing is held hostage.

What is the SEO health check in the Premium plan?

A monthly review of your Google Search Console data — which pages are ranking, which keywords are gaining or losing position, any crawl errors or indexing issues, and Core Web Vitals. We send a plain-language summary with any actions we took or recommend. Not a 40-page PDF nobody reads.
